2022-23 Youth De'VIA Competition

Youth De'VIA

Chuck Baird founded De'VIA (Deaf View/Image Art).  His goal was to have youth artists surrounded with powerfully evoked arts that examine and express the Deaf Experience from a cultural, linguistic, and intersectional point of view.  This competition is for all deaf and hard of hearing school-age children and youth.  Artists are encouraged to incorporate one or more aspects of Deaf people’s communication, culture, or history in their submissions.  We truly wish you the best of luck and are looking forward to gathering your beautiful works of art.

Images and excel spreadsheet must be submitted to youthdevia@kssdb.org by March 27, 2023.
