MISSION STATEMENT

To ensure every student the right to appropriate educational experiences to develop skills and attitudes needed for transition into adult life.

BELIEF STATEMENTS

SECONDARY PROGRAM

Student asking teacher a question. The Secondary program serves students in grades 8-12 in a rotating schedule. The mission for Secondary students is to ensure every student the right to appropriate educational experiences to develop skills and attitudes needed for transition into adult life.

In order to better prepare students for their 21st century futures, appropriate multimedia technology will be integrated into the experiences of all high school coursework, including CD-ROM, videodisc, computer software, digital photography (still and video), internet usage and other resources.

Teacher watching student read. Academic advisors assist students with high school course work, ensuring that they are following graduation requirements. Career Development and Transition Facilitator will assist students with post-secondary education or vocational choices after high school. This includes college admission, financial aid, and scholarship information as well as testing.
