Fundraising
There are many businesses that commit to sending financial support to our school when their product or services are used. Below is a list businesses and programs that benefit KSD.

Thank You CD Tradepost
KSD would like to say thank you to our local CD Tradepost store and store manager Jason Preston at 1094 W Santa Fe St. in Olathe, KS. Their store has decided to donate duplicate copies of used DVD's, CD's, game systems, and games to our school. They recently donated over 70 items to our school. During this round of donations the infirmary, dormitory, and RACE programs have received these items and are benefitting from these donations. Thank you,
CD Tradepost, for helping to support our school!

Best Buy Rewards
KSD began our partnership with Best Buy's School Reward program in October of 2009. From October to December and with the help of staff and families at KSD, Olathe community members, and most importantly the staff at the 119th street Best Buy, KSD earned over $2,000 dollars to spend at their store. These funds were spent on purchasing a beautiful new tv for the secondary library and a digital camera for the Bilingual Multi-Media Room.
I am asking all KSD staff and families to please consider supporting our school through Best Buy stores. You can earn KSD reward points by telling the cashier to donate your Rewards Points to the Kansas School for the Deaf. Your friends and family can also support this program nationally. All that is needed at the time of purchase is our main campus telephone number 913-791-0573. Best Buy will be making reward cards for all interested staff and family members that would like one as well. I will let you know when these are ready to dispense.
KSD I need your help. Please help me to thank Best Buy! Say thank you especially to the wonderful staff at the 119th street location that have encouraged countless patrons to give back to us. Best Buy is working to help make a difference in our community. If you would, please consider showing them your support while benefitting our KSD programs.

Campbell's Soup Labels
For over 30 years, Campbell's Labels for Education program has awarded over $100 million in FREE merchandise to schools nationwide. To kick-off this next year's collection drive, KSD is asking parents, teachers and friends in the community to collect Campbell product proofs of purchase that can be redeemed for free educational merchandise.
You can help KSD earn free merchandise such as computers, audio/visual equipment, physical education equipment, reference books, art supplies or even a mini-van, simply by collecting Campbell product proofs of purchase and forwarding them to KSD's, Emery Elementary Office.

We're asking the community to help," said Leslie Caldwell the Community Resource Facilitator. It's easy to pitch in.
