Thanks to everyone who supported and attended the 150th Anniversary of KSD September 21 to 25. It was a huge success and it was great fun to see so many alumni. We had attendees from all across the country and there was much fun and reminiscing. It is such an honor to be a part of the proud history of KSD. With our current bi-lingual curriculum KSD is on the cutting edge of high quality education for our students. It is recognized as one of the best Schools for the Deaf in the nation.
As you know the Alumni Association has been fund raising to build a multi-purpose athletic court for KSD students. It is planned that this court will be used for physical education classes as well as free time recreation by our students. As a result of the success of the 150th Celebration a significant amount has been added to the fund. We are very, very close to our goal but we need one last push from our members to put us over the top. Please use the enclosed contribution card to make sure we reach our goal. Any amount will be appreciated and will make a difference.
